Harriet Harris (UCHS c/o 1960, UCHS Chemestry teacher 1964-1966) just happened to be in St. Louis when we were in town since she was attending her 50 year Washington University reunion.  She sat with us for a while and told us a bit about her 40 year singing career as an opera singer and teacher in Philadelphia, Phoenix, and the San Francisco bay area.  She also let us know about her short tenure as a chemistry teacher at University City High School fresh out of Wash U. from 1964-1966.
