We met up randomly and briefly with U. City opera singer Clayton Mathews (UCHS c/o 2001) on the boardwalk on Coney Island in Brooklyn as he was driving back to his home in the Philadelphia/Princeton area after a week of performing a series of shows at an opera festival in Manchester, Vermont.  He hopes to be back in New York City more frequently in the closing months of 2013, so we hope to interview him then.  It won't be his first interview by far.  Here's a link to an interview conducted by the BBC on a 2013 performance by Clayton at the Cotton Club in Harlem, New York City: http://m.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-22997397
