I remember "Mr. Thomas" very well! He allowed our garage band to use the UCHS Band Room as a recording studio for some songs our band, "Life Torn Away," wrote in 1971, volunteering to operate the reel-to-reel machine and to put up with our noise. I believe he also let us borrow the school's Moog Synthesizer for another recording session later. And we weren't even in the band or vocal program!
